Who is Corey Wagner Anyway?
Before building Canine Cuts & Color, I spent 20 years in the hospitality industry, traveling the world while mastering the ins and outs of high-level operations, global department management, and premium client service. It was a rewarding career, but deep down, I was waiting for the dream I never knew I wanted.
When I finally stepped up to the grooming table, I realized I had found my true calling. Today, I am proud to combine two decades of global service standards with a deep foundation in dog training and canine behavior. My hospitality background means I don’t just understand how to style a dog—I know how to run a seamless, professional boutique experience where both you and your companion feel entirely taken care of.
Above all else, I am a "Humanity over Vanity" groomer.
A dog is a living, breathing soul, and my focus is on helping them feel safe, relaxed, and happy in a centered, calm environment. While our salon is celebrated for premium coat restoration and vibrant creative color work, your dog's comfort and emotional safety are my absolute, non-negotiable boundaries. If a coat is severely matted, we start fresh for the dog’s comfort. If a companion is anxious or reactive, we slow down and move at their pace. I often tell people I'm like the dogs' "Aunt Corey"—here to spoil them with love, patience, and a little extra care.
